Welcome to DriveEasy. By accessing or using our website and car rental services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 21 years old to rent a vehicle.
  • A valid driving license (held for at least 1 year) and government-issued ID are mandatory.
  • Additional drivers must be registered and meet the same requirements.

2. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by DriveEasy.
  • Rental charges are calculated on a per-day (24-hour) basis from the time of pickup.
  • A refundable security deposit may be collected at the time of pickup.
  • Prices displayed on the website are indicative and may change based on season, location, and demand.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellations made 24 hours before pickup are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup may incur a fee of up to one day's rental.
  • No-shows will be charged the full rental amount.
  • Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

4. Use of Vehicle

  • The vehicle must only be driven by the registered driver(s).
  • Use of the vehicle for illegal activities, racing, off-roading, or transporting hazardous goods is strictly prohibited.
  • Smoking and pets are not allowed inside the vehicle unless expressly permitted.
  • The renter is responsible for all traffic fines, tolls, and parking violations during the rental period.

5. Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same fuel level. Otherwise, refueling charges plus a service fee will apply.

6. Damage and Insurance

  • Basic insurance is included in all rentals. Additional coverage can be purchased at checkout.
  • The renter is liable for any damage, loss, or theft not covered by insurance.
  • Any accident must be reported to DriveEasy and local authorities immediately.

7. Late Returns

A grace period of 30 minutes is provided. Beyond that, an additional day's rental will be charged.

8. Limitation of Liability

DriveEasy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of personal belongings left in the vehicle.

9. Changes to Terms

DriveEasy reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai.
